This Marine First Aid & CPR course includes the latest First Aid & CPR Guidelines. It meets the federal, provincial and territorial regulations for Standard First Aid as well as the Transport Canada Training Program Standards in Marine First Aid (TP 13008E). This course provides an overview of First Aid & CPR techniques that can apply to a variety of marine/fishing industry applications.
These courses run from 9:30am - 5pm (Please note that the end-time is approximate). The course length is approximately 14-16 hours.
Course Description
F.A.S.T. Rescue is a Red Cross authorized provider. This Red Cross Advanced Marine First Aid course includes the latest First Aid and CPR Guidelines. It meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for First Responder as well as the Transport Canada Training Program Standards in Marine First Aid (TP 13008E). This course includes comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques and scenarios for those who need a higher level of training to work and respond to emergencies in an advanced marine setting.
The course length is approximately 40-44 hours. The pre-requisite for this course is a current CPR Level C certification. Please note that a copy of this certificaton must be emailed or faxed to us before we can confirm your registration for these courses.
