Once the JHSC members have successfully completed ‘Basic Certification Training’, they are required to fulfill the requirements of ‘Part 2 - Specific to Manufacturing Workplaces’. This involves performing a risk assessment to ensure proper RECOGNITION, of hazards in the workplace. Training is required in properly assessing those hazards and implementing adequate controls.
Completion of both Level 1 & 2 courses are required to finalize certification for all Ontario workplaces of 20 or more employees. This interactive course is a necessary component for Joint Health & Safety Committee members and brings the internal responsibility system into practice. Relevant to any medium or large workplace, this course contains the most current legislation. This program is provided by the Industrial Safety Trainers. Course Includes: - Manuals
