F.A.S.T. Rescue is a Red Cross authorized provider. Our Red Cross First Responder courses are designed to teach First Responders advanced first aid techniques. They will learn how to sustain life, prevent further injuries and the consequences of further injury until more advanced medical personnel arrive. This course includes the newest First Aid & CPR Guidelines (2005) and meets Federal regulations and a variety of provincial/territorial requirements for Advanced First Aid. First Responder certification is valid for 3 years and includes CPR Level HCP and Automated External Defibrillation.
The course length is approximately 40-44 hours. The pre-requisite for this course is a current CPR Level C certification. Please note that a copy of this certificaton must be emailed or faxed to us before we can confirm your registration for these courses. This course runs from 8am - 6pm.

Course Description

Our Red Cross First Responder Recertification courses extends certification for 3 years and is applicable only to First Responders who hold a current First Responder certificate. First Responder certification is valid for 3 years and includes CPR Level HCP and Automated External Defibrillation.
The course length is approximately 20-24 hours. The pre-requisite for this course is a current First Responder certificate. Please note that a copy of this certificaton must be emailed or faxed to us before we can confirm your registration for these courses. This course runs from 8am - 6pm.
F.A.S.T. Rescue is a leader in safety training and equipment solutions. We provide standardized and customized training programs to meet your needs. FAST can assist you to fulfill the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) Reg.1101 requirements and Ministry of Labour Orders. A value add is that we offer access to your own reports of who was trained from your organization, at what level and when they are due for recertification. F.A.S.T. Rescue provides First Aid coverage for your event. Most organizations offer personnel who have been trained in Standard First Aid. F.A.S.T. Rescue's personnel are at minimum First Responder trained. Furthermore, the equipment we bring on-site is not limited to a First Aid kit. We ensure our personnel have trauma bags and if required, an Automated External Defibrillator and oxygen tank. We take your safety seriously!
